Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) who conducts the Nigeria Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Saturday, 16th May 2021 postpones the close of the examination registration.
JAMB registration has to be done at the JAMB registration centre. It cannot be done in any cyber cafe if it is not an accredited JAMB Centre.
JAMB registration procedures are as follow
- NIN registration: Before you are able to register for JAMB 2021, you must have your NIN. The NIMC office is in charge of NIN registration. It simply means a national identification number. any candidate that is below 16 years, will have their parents or guardian to stand in for them. This means their parent’s or Guardians’ NIN will be used to register the candidate’s NIN. To register for NIN, go to the NIMC office in your state or your local government headquarter.
- Profile code: To get your profile code you will dial *55019*1*00000000000# or send “NIN 00000000000” without the quotation mark to 55019. The “00000000000” will be replaced with your real NIN. N50 will be deducted from your airtime. It works in airtel, 9mobile,mtn and glo. After a while, you will see a message that will contain your profile code. the profile code will be a 10 digit number.
- E-PIN: At this point, you may visit the JAMB accredited CBT Centre. You’ll be able to purchase your E-PIN for your JAMB registration. You can as well buy your E-PIN for JAMB registration online using online banking. From here you can now move to the JAMB accredited CBT Centre for your data capturing.
JAMB Registration Fees: N4700 (This includes the novel and registration charge but the CBT centres)
